Company History

     Working in the equipment field since 1975 gave us the experience to start American Midwest Equipment Company in 1990. Starting small and building equity over the years, we have continually added inventory and services.

     We are pleased to report that in 2000 we completed our facility on 6.9 acres in Ixonia, Wisconsin.  As we grow and use our new facility, we will continue to conduct business with integrity.  We pride ourselves on being open and honest in our dealings to earn the respect, trust, and loyalty of others.  Continued growth is our goal but not at the expense of service to you.     

     We look forward to being a good corporate citizen and are proud to be in our fourth year of awarding a scholarship to a young citizen to use toward tuition/books at a college of their choice. 

Corporate Profile and Goals

Drawing from over two decades of working for equipment suppliers to mining, construction, and excavating companies, we founded American Midwest Equipment Company to serve two market needs.

We saw the growth in the market turning to late model new or low hour equipment that could be sold for a fair profit but maintain a value attractive for our customers.  We coupled that with the ability to provide a nationwide rental fleet stocking units that aren't normally available or that are in short supply.  We make it our goal to assist our customers further by finding  specific units that meet their needs whether or not it is in our inventory.
